Thanksgiving is all about traditions and being thankful. Every year we use my great grandmother's china dishes and find new ways to modernize our tablescape with items we already have around the house. It's so important to cherish those traditions and celebrate the holiday with loved ones.
Keeping my great grandmother's plates as the focal point of the table, we selected a deep green tablecloth to pick up the hint of green on the plates. For the centerpiece, my mom and I repurposed several items we had around the house including our white pumpkins, dried hydrangeas, and dried artichokes. We also incorporated varying gold candle holders we purchased at Michaels for an extra sparkle.
Starting with the candles, we placed them down the table and filled in the empty spaces with our pumpkins. From there, we took our other table elements and began filling in the gaps. When bringing your tablescape to life for Thanksgiving, always try to incorporate an element of tradition, remembering those that are no longer there while celebrating amazing memories.
