One of the best things to enjoy during the summer is eating outdoors! Our backyard patio has really become our mini oasis, so creating an easy summer tablescape just makes it even more relaxing and beautiful. With all the lush green plants and flowers along with the green of our house I wanted the table to be simple yet compliment its surroundings.
My mom picked up this elegant patterned tablecloth from Wegmans and we selected white and green napkins. I just layered the white dinner and salad plates, placing the napkin on top to keep everything organized. For the centerpiece, I alternated candles and two different sized vases of hydrangea. So the stems don't show, wrap the hydrangea leaves in the vase, making the flowers elegant.
The key is to make sure the table isn't too fussy, especially because everything is outside. Simple yet classic is the way to go!
